Kuwait International Airport is the main international aviation gateway of Kuwait and operates around the clock with airlines, ground-handling providers, airport contractors, government departments and support-service companies working across its terminals and operational areas. Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is responsible for major airport-management and civil-aviation functions at Kuwait International Airport.

Baggage Handling Operations at Kuwait International Airport
Baggage operations involve more than simply loading suitcases onto aircraft.

- Check-in baggage areas
- Baggage sorting areas
- Baggage makeup areas
- Ramp areas
- Aircraft stands

Physical Requirements for Baggage Loader Jobs
Baggage handling can be physically demanding.
Candidates may need to:

Terminal cleaning and aircraft cleaning should be treated as different job categories because duties, access requirements and employers can differ.

DGCA describes its airport Operations Department as providing and supervising passenger services around the clock.
Depending on the employer, workers may therefore have:
- Morning shifts
- Afternoon shifts

- Rotational shifts
- Weekend duties
- Public holiday duties

Kuwait Airways Jobs
Kuwait Airways is Kuwait’s national airline and operates an official careers portal.
However, candidates should note an important current detail: at the time of checking, the official Kuwait Airways careers portal states that there are no open jobs available.
This does not mean there will be no Kuwait Airways recruitment during 2026. New vacancies can be posted later, so candidates can monitor the official careers page.
Kuwait Airways Official Careers
Candidates should not claim that Kuwait Airways is currently hiring baggage loaders or cleaners unless an active vacancy appears on its official recruitment portal.
Kuwait DGCA Job Applications
Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation website includes a Job Application Form within its official services and forms.
Candidates interested in direct government civil-aviation opportunities should check DGCA announcements and official application information.
For baggage loading, aircraft cleaning and similar outsourced operational positions, candidates should also check authorised ground-handling and airport-service employers because these roles are not necessarily direct DGCA positions.
Important Note Before Applying
The title “Kuwait International Airport Jobs 2026 – Baggage Loader & Cleaning Staff Hiring” describes the types of airport jobs candidates commonly search for, but applicants should not interpret it as confirmation that Kuwait International Airport itself currently has an active direct recruitment drive for these exact positions.
As of the current check, Kuwait Airways’ official careers portal has no active openings, while DGCA provides an official job-application channel.
Candidates should therefore verify every individual vacancy before applying and check whether the actual employer is DGCA, an airline, a ground-handling company or an airport contractor.
How to Apply for Kuwait International Airport Jobs
Candidates interested in Kuwait International Airport jobs should understand that baggage handling, cleaning, ramp, cargo and passenger-support positions may be recruited by different aviation-service companies and contractors rather than directly by the airport.
Two companies candidates may encounter in Kuwait’s aviation-services sector are Kuwait Aviation Services Company (KASCO) and National Aviation Services (NAS). NAS describes its operations as covering airport and aviation services, while KASCO maintains its own recruitment system.
Candidates should always check the current vacancy status before applying.
Step 1 – Choose Your Preferred Airport Job
Depending on the employer and available vacancies, candidates can search for positions such as:
- Baggage Loader
- Baggage Handler
- Ramp Staff
- Aircraft Cleaner
- Airport Cleaning Staff
- Trolley Staff
- Cargo Helper
- Cargo Agent
- Warehouse Staff
- Equipment Operator
- Passenger Service Agent
- Customer Service Staff
- Meet & Assist Staff
- Ground Operations Staff
NAS has previously recruited in Kuwait for Passenger Services, Cargo, Operations and Equipment Operator positions, demonstrating the range of ground-service jobs that can exist within airport operations.
Step 2 – Prepare Your CV
Candidates should prepare a simple professional CV containing:
- Full Name
- Nationality
- Current Location
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
- Educational Qualification
- Previous Employer
- Years of Experience
- Airport Experience, if applicable
- Baggage Handling Experience
- Loading / Unloading Experience
- Warehouse Experience
- Cleaning Experience
- Driving Licence, if applicable
- Languages Known
- Current Kuwait Residency Status, if applicable
- Joining Availability
For example:
Baggage Handler – 3 Years Airport Experience
or
Cleaning Staff – 2 Years Commercial Cleaning Experience
Candidates without airport experience should clearly mention any relevant warehouse, loading, logistics or professional cleaning experience.
Step 3 – Keep Required Documents Ready
Depending on the employer and position, candidates may need:
- Updated CV / Resume
- Valid Passport
- Passport-size Photograph
- Educational Certificates
- Experience Certificates
- Kuwait Civil ID for existing residents, where applicable
- Kuwait Work Permit for existing workers, where applicable
- Driving Licence for relevant positions
- Forklift or equipment certification for applicable roles
- Other documents requested by the employer
A previous NAS Kuwait recruitment campaign, for example, asked candidates to carry an updated CV, passport copy, Civil ID copy and work-permit copy.
Step 4 – Check KASCO Careers
Kuwait Aviation Services Company maintains an official online careers system where candidates can check vacancies and submit employment information.
KASCO’s application system requests information including education, experience, skills, CV, Civil ID and passport documents.
However, an important current update is that the KASCO vacancies page presently states:
“No available vacancies currently.”
Candidates can therefore monitor the official page for future vacancies rather than relying on outdated recruitment advertisements.
Step 5 – Check National Aviation Services Opportunities
NAS is another aviation-services employer associated with airport operations in Kuwait.
The company describes its workforce as multicultural and states that it welcomes talented individuals from different countries. It also says it invests in employee training and development.
National Aviation Services Official Website
Previous NAS Kuwait recruitment has included:
- Passenger Services Agents

Aircraft-cleaning candidates may need additional security clearance or airside access depending on the employer and work area.
Airport Security & Restricted Area Requirements
Working at an international airport is different from working in a normal warehouse or commercial building.
Employees working in operational or restricted areas may have to meet employer and airport requirements relating to:
- Identity verification
- Security checks
- Background verification
- Airport access
- Safety training
- Operational training
- Equipment certification
- Medical or physical fitness
NAS states that its operators are licensed and certified before receiving flight-line access or operating relevant vehicles and support equipment.
Working in Ramp Operations
Ramp employees work close to aircraft and airport ground equipment.
Depending on the position, duties can involve:
- Baggage loading
- Baggage unloading
- Cargo handling
- Ground equipment
- Aircraft turnaround support
- Ramp coordination
- Aircraft servicing support
Safety is particularly important in this environment because employees work around aircraft, vehicles and specialised ground-support equipment.
NAS says its airside operations emphasise traffic management and flight safety, with training, certification and safety audits forming part of its operating processes.
Equipment Operator Jobs
Candidates with driving or equipment-handling experience can also look for Equipment Operator positions.
Airport equipment can include:
- Baggage tractors
- Baggage carts
- Forklifts
- Cargo equipment
- Ground-support vehicles
- Other specialised airport equipment
Previous NAS Kuwait recruitment for Equipment Operators specifically sought candidates with heavy-vehicle driving licences and forklift experience.
The requirements of future vacancies may differ.
Passenger Service Jobs
Candidates with better English communication and customer-service experience may consider passenger-facing positions.
Typical duties can include:
- Check-in assistance
- Boarding-gate support
- Transfer-desk operations
- Passenger guidance
- Lost-and-found assistance
- Baggage delivery assistance
- Meet & Assist services
Previous NAS Kuwait recruitment described Passenger Services positions covering check-in counters, transfer desks, boarding gates, passenger control, lost-and-found and baggage delivery.
Cargo Jobs
Cargo positions can be suitable for candidates with logistics, warehouse or aviation experience.
Possible responsibilities include:
- Cargo acceptance
- Shipment handling
- Cargo documentation
- Warehouse operations
- Loading and unloading
- Shipment sorting
- Cargo movement
- Safety procedures
Some professional Cargo Agent positions may require previous knowledge of airline cargo operations and procedures.
Working Hours
Airport operations run throughout the day and night, so candidates should be prepared for shift-based employment.
Schedules may include:
- Morning shifts
- Evening shifts
- Night shifts
- Rotational shifts
- Weekend duties
- Public holiday duties
- Overtime where applicable
Previous NAS Kuwait recruitment specifically required candidates to be willing to work in shifts.
Exact working hours and overtime arrangements depend on the employer and employment contract.
Salary & Employment Benefits
Salary packages vary according to the employer, position, experience and contract.
Depending on the vacancy, an employment package may include:
- Basic monthly salary
- Overtime
- Medical insurance
- Paid annual leave
- Transportation or allowance for selected positions
- Accommodation or housing arrangements for selected positions
- Uniform
- Training
- Other contractual benefits
Candidates should not assume that accommodation, transportation or food is automatically provided.
The exact benefits should be confirmed from the written employment offer.
Candidates Applying from India & Other Countries
Candidates from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and other countries may encounter overseas recruitment advertisements for Kuwait airport-related jobs.
However, international applicants should first confirm whether the specific vacancy accepts overseas candidates.
Before travelling to Kuwait, verify:
- Employer name
- Job title
- Workplace
- Monthly salary
- Kuwait work visa
- Employment contract
- Working hours
- Overtime
- Accommodation
- Transportation
- Food allowance, if any
- Medical insurance
- Annual leave
- Contract duration
- Any deductions
Some previous Kuwait aviation vacancies have specifically been advertised as local hire only, so candidates should never assume that every airport vacancy accepts overseas applications. For example, recent KASCO recruitment posts for customer-service and hospitality positions specified local hiring in Kuwait.
Applying from India
Indian candidates should be particularly careful when dealing with recruitment agencies advertising jobs such as:
“Kuwait Airport Loader Direct Hiring”
or
“Kuwait Airport Cleaner Visa Ready”
Before paying any recruitment-related amount or handing over original documents, candidates should verify:
- Recruitment agency
- Overseas employer
- Employment contract
- Work visa
- Salary
- Job title
- Work location
Where possible, verify the vacancy directly with the employer.
Important Current Vacancy Update
As of the current check, KASCO’s official vacancy page says that there are no available vacancies currently.
At the same time, KASCO has continued recruitment activity in 2026 for other categories. A recent company recruitment post sought a Female F&B Server, showing that hiring can reopen for individual positions even when the main vacancy page has no listings.
Therefore, candidates should monitor official recruitment channels regularly rather than assuming that baggage loader or cleaning vacancies are continuously available.
Recruitment Scam Warning
Airport jobs are frequently used in misleading recruitment advertisements, so candidates should verify every opportunity carefully.
Be cautious of claims such as:
“100% Guaranteed Kuwait Airport Job”
“No Interview Direct Joining”
“Pay Today and Get Airport Visa”
For safer recruitment:
- Verify the employer.
- Check official career pages.
- Verify recruitment agencies.
- Read the employment contract.
- Confirm salary and benefits.
- Verify work-visa arrangements.
- Do not share banking passwords or OTPs.
- Keep original documents secure.
- Do not rely solely on WhatsApp advertisements.
- Be cautious of guaranteed-selection claims.
